Every piece of information on Yerleske is shown with its source. Use “Show sources” on any profile to see where each field came from, when it was verified and how confident we are.
Official sources
Data published by public authorities and universities’ own websites, RSS feeds and open data endpoints are our most trusted sources, shown with the Official source badge.
Verified institutions
Representatives of verified institutions can update descriptions, contact details, photos, news and events directly; these are marked Verified institution . Critical fields such as the legal name, type and status change only through an editor-approved change request. Institutions cannot alter the Yerleske Score, student reviews or editorial notes.
Editorial records
Information entered by Yerleske editors is labelled Yerleske editorial . Records created during the initial setup stay “Pending verification” until checked against an official source.
Public web
Unofficial but public sources start with lower confidence and are not promoted until confirmed by an official source.
Community contributions
Visitors can suggest corrections with “Spotted a mistake?” on every page. Suggestions are reviewed by editors and never published directly.
AI-assisted extraction
AI will only extract structured facts from a source text we hold, and such facts will be labelled AI-assisted . This feature is not enabled yet.
